"Old Monk" is a vatted Indian dark Rum, blended and aged for a minimum of 7 years.
It is a dark rum with a distinct vanilla flavor, with an alcohol content of 40%.
Old Monk is the largest selling dark rum in the world and has also been the biggest Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) brand for many years.
Old Monk had been awarded gold medals at Monde World Selections since 1982.
International Old Monk Day is celebrated on 19th December.
It is sold in five size variants: 90 ml, 180 ml, 375 ml, 750 ml, and 1 liter bottles.
It is produced in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, available in all parts of India.

Chasers / Mixers: Old Monk is usually mixed with any kind of Cola, Soda or Water and often with a twist of Lime.
